Sarah's 6 yr pictures!

These aren't officially from her birthday (which was in April), but they are to celebrate that she is now a big six year old! She is getting so grown up, I can't believe it. Just yesterday she has learned to ride her bike without training wheels! I'm not ready to let her go out in the street yet, but she doess pretty good on our driveway!

Sarah's ballet & tap class!

 

 

So while Emily chose to do hip-hop, Sarah chose ballet and tap. While she did enjoy the class overall, I think it was hard for her to do such contrived dance moves, rather than being able to boogie the way she always does to music at home. It was SO cute to see all these darling little girls doing their dance routines. Sarah enjoyed the ballet part more than tap dancing. She is on the front row, second from the right in the group picture.

Emily's Hip-hop dance class!

 

Earlier in the year, Emily and Sarah began dance classes at the community center in Washington. Emily started out trying ballet and tap, but after the first day, she decided something more "jazzy" was what she really wanted. So, she enrolled in the hip hop class. Originally there were a few boys too, but after a while it dwindled down to these four cute girls. They did a good job and it was fun to see them perform twice this past week!
